France was chosen to host the 47th WSF Annual General Meeting. It will take place the 2th and 3th December 2017 in Marseille alongside the Men’s World Team Championship which is included in the Marseille European Sport Capital 2017 programme. Rich culture, famous monuments and a beautiful sea coast will make the 2nd biggest city in France the ideal place to celebrate sport and squash in particular.
The WSF Annual General Meeting will gather the federal delegates of numerous international countries for conferences and the results of the past year. It will also be the opportunity to highlight squash’s support to the Paris bid for the 2024 Olympic Games.
This edition will be particularly exceptional because it will take place for the first time in France under the direction of the new WSF French president Jacques Fontaine. To close this AGM, all delegates will be invited to the Men’s World Team Championship final and to a dinner gala co-organized with the World Championship.
The organisation committee is working on a high standard event, and wishes a warm welcome to all the national federation’s delegates in France.
