The World Games : Draws

The city of Wrocław is preparing to host the World Games' 10th edition. The official opening is scheduled on July 20 2017. The competition will last ten days with the final medal ceremony on July 30. Twenty-eight sports disciplines are registered on the official program, as well as 3 others, which will be there as demonstration.

The World Games are organized by IWGA, the International World Games Association. They gather sports that are not part of the Olympic Games. It is possible to watch artistic and dance sports such as artistic roller skating or trampoline, racket sports such as squash as well as original sports like beach handball, martial arts like aikido or sumo, precision sports such as billiards, boules sports or bowling, strengh sports like tug of war and also trend sports like water skiing or finswimming.

The first World Games happened in Santa Clara, California in the United States in 1981. They are held every four years. 

It is the fifth time that squash is present in the World Games. This year, the competition will last from July 25 to July 28 at the 33 courts' club: Hasta la Vista. Twenty-seven nations will be represented.
