Every morning, we offer you a quick preview of the day's matches. We don't expect too many upsets today, since the higher seeded team in each pool is meeting the lower one. It's therefore likely that some of the favourites will decide to rest their number 1 player.
The highlight of the first session will be Egypt - hot favourites of this year's MWTC – opening match against Pakistan, far from the dominant position they once occupied in the squash world and who are missing a few key players as well. We'll keep an eye on how well the the South-African veterans do against New Zealand, as well as on the debut of Jamaica vs Germany.

Tournament's minnows Iraq will also play their first MWTC's tie this afternoon against Hong Kong. England and India are expected to win comfortably against Argentina and Austria, respectively. Attendance should be high in Modern' Squash at 7pm for the first outing of home favourites France vs Ireland. They will try and use this tie to ease into the competition, such as Australia against the Czech Republic.
